Tournament Coordinator
Ron graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Education (Physical Education major, History minor) in 1972. He later received his M.S in Physical Education and Administrative Certification from Arizona State University.
After graduating from the University of Arizona, Ron taught physical education and social studies , initially in Plainfield, Wisconsin, and then for 14 years at Greenway High School in Phoenix. During that time, Ron coached basketball for boys and girls, football, volleyball and track. Ron was an Assistant Principal at both Sheboygan North (Wisconsin) High School and McClintock High School (Tempe). At McClintock High School, as Athletic Director, Ron was instrumental in initiating and successfully coordinating numerous invitational tournaments as well as directing numerous AIA region and state athletic events.
